Phil Currie gives another "Information Center" pep talk,.
Too bad he can't actually point out any of the so-called successes of the Information Center concept. And what is this wave of innovation Gannett is riding? Maybe it's the supper narrow format, or the adscape ads designed to blur the line between paid and non-paid information. Maybe it's the reduced news staffing, or gutted pension plan.

I just found this site. I actually
googled "gannett sucks" and found it. So you now know my feelings about gannett. What i have read so far is right on. I have worked for Gannett for 15 years and have over 20 total at my newspaper. I am barely holding on meaning i don't know how much more of there crap i can take. Unless you work for them you really don't know. I don't see how any company could be any worse. I have been through 2 pesnion screwings with them this last one is hard to take.

As a recent member of the Gannett services no longer needed club I must let those that remain know that the first day is rough then rationlization comes through and you somehow realize you a heading to a much better place. Gannett mis-management has made it clear that employees don't matter and to those 999 others that left in Sept we need to roll call for data regarding age discrimination
